In the forex market, costs are generally confined to the bid-ask spread. UpFX™ is compensated through the bid/ask spread except where otherwise noted. The spreads below represent our 'Institutional' account type.

Why is the spread changing every few seconds?

We're not a dealing desk, and as such we don't offer a set spread. A 'dealing desk' is generally a broker that is the counterparty to your trade and they offer you a fixed spread.

When you trade with a broker who is a dealing desk, your loss is their gain.

UpFX™ has tiered liquidity relationships to find you a counterparty at the best spread using straight through processing (STP). Sweet, right? We're compensated for this service by increasing the spread (see our account types page for a transparent disclosure of our exact spread increases).
